Energy transition
Electricity is the energy source of the future because of its low CO2 emissions. Nowadays, an electric version of almost every appliance is available, from bicycle to car, from toothbrush to heat pump. ​​

However, electricity also has some disadvantages for which the solutions are not that obvious. Electricity is still relatively expensive and prices are subject to large fluctuations. ​

In addition, the options for storing electricity are much more limited and complex. Especially now that "virtual" storage with a reversing meter will be terminated end 2024.
